Though had crossed my mind!!
No sign of any trouble this side of the channel.
Firstly a little pilgrimage to Tyne Cot Cemetery where Mrs DSL's great grandfather is commemorated. It is a massive place and was lovely & quiet in the rain. Well, that was until the tour buses arrived.

.............Just got to remember which side of the road they drive on. ................
I always put a band of electric tape round the steering wheel to remind me which side to drive on, very easy to forget after taking a coffee break and more so when you return to UK.

Managed to stay on the correct side of the road, well mostly. I forgot what fun and games German deredtricted 2 lane motorways are. I thought at one stage someone had stuck a big LEAVE sticker on the back of my car as i was not feeling welcomed into Lane 2!!
Now all set up, nice and warm and just going to spray up as horseflies are out.

And whilst that view looks nice, there's a freight line in there that has a train every 5 minutes. And not even a beer to wash down the bread & cheese for dinner. It's a dry trip to detox my liver.
Oh, and if anyone in the area of Kassel wonders what the smell is, it's the Camembert I bought and forgot to put in the Engel. It's ripened VERY quickly.

Not a problem here, might be an issue in the bondu of Scandinavia. I can always blame the cheese for the smell
Hope all goes well Del I wish i was heading over but had to cancel due to my mum. Lost quite a bit of money as we paid up front last year Unless someone wants to buy a ferry crossing Newhaven to Dieppe with car return 7/7/16 to 21/78/16 with cabin on the return. Take care Del, keep us informed (its the nearest I will get this year)
