| EGR opening and ambient temperature ? |

Hi,
Anyone know what constraints are set for the EGR operation ?
By measuring (SDD) i can see that EGR is closed when Intake Air temperature (IAT sensor build in MAF) is below 7 degree. From 11 degree it weakens EGR operation and from 7 degree i'ts permanently closed.
I have a TDV6 2.7 2008MY, euro4 non DPF
Have inserted a potentiometer and by that kept the 'temperature' below 7 deg celsius.
the consumption, after 1000km, is lower by 5-10% i now drive 12.5 km/l against before
11,5 km/l.
