Aligment

Today I got 4wheel alignment on my Disco3

On the way back from the garage the car fells better on the road. But still not as good as new Sad

Need some more investigation on the wobble I feel on the steering wheel, no it. is not the brakes, it. is something different, feels like the wheels want to steer without me doping any input on the wheel. The garage says There is no unnormal "play" in the front end parts, anyone have any suggestions what might be the problem?

Cheers,

/Fredrik

Fitted two replacement front parking sensors. Replaced all the self tappers on the mud flaps, inner arches and bumpers with stainless versions. Tried to sort out my compressor but it looks like a job for the dealer.

Changed front pads and wear sensor - thanks again to the great Bodsy, for his invaluable guide.

Note to self, change the pads before the wear sensor engages, as it is an absolute @rse to get behind the wheel arch liner.

Eventually picked up my D3 last night new clutch, brake pipes and wheel nuts.

Went down to caravan after filling up £90. Had to take wife for a cuppa to calm her down.

Ran very smooth down to caravan today, still to fit the Tyre guard got from Ray and the boot liner, job for tomorrow. But found that I do not have the roof rail to fit my antenna bracket from Ray. Will have to look at alternative method for fitting antenna.

Will take time to find my way round all the gadgets, managed to get the Parot Bluetooth working with my Samsung S4 one job less.

Having had my new car for close to a week - took it to Advanced Factors, Southampton today to get Steve to cast his expert eye over it. The fact that it is less than a mile from my new house may prove very handy/and or expensive Whistle
Really good to cast my eye over some of the mods on his own D3 - saw lots I like.....
Thankfully he didn't see anything too worrying with my new purchase (or was too kind to say so if he did). Very kind of him to be so forthcoming with advice/tips & knowledge. Top bloke
Now to make contact with Geoff.........

Almost a week in - really happy with the car, what a fab stereo! Bit miffed have to put 2121 in every time to pair my iphone?
