front suspension overrun HELP PLS

Hi guys, yesterday while changing my front rotors i have noticed the right upper suspension arm in contact with the aluminum airbag cover and the suspension was at least 4 inches more extended than the other one (car raised on the lift).
So i'm worried about it because i don't know if the upper bump stop inside the suspension damper is broken and the only thing stopping the arm travel is the contact between the upper arm and the aluminum airbag cover.
Any known issue?

Thanks for help me
