A big appeal/Plea with moving one of our rescue dogs.
He is in St Austell and his owner does not drive.. we have asked commercial couriers, however as a charity we just don't have the money right now. We are in Fife. But could travel down to Manchester and back in one jaunt.
Thunders current owner wants him moved ASAP (we got the message yesterday).
Thunder is an 18 month lab that we placed last week, having gone through the appropriate home checks etc.. However, very sadly, it has not worked out for the family or Thunder. The timing was not ideal as the husbands Mum has just died and his wife is at home with their young autistic son.
Thunder is a beautiful boy and is still very puppy like. He is an excellent traveller. He was with us here for a week and we adored him. We would have kept him, however we will be back up to 7 dogs again when DD moves back in with us for a while!
Please see PAWWS and JCDR for more photos, videos,Description etc.... if anyone can help in any we we would be very very grateful. Thunder has been through a lot and we thought he had found his forever home.. Its so sad. He is a fantastic dog and just needs love, affection, training and a family of his own...

Hi ALL
URGENT REQUEST!!!
We had a courier lined up.. However he has just called to say his windsreen has been smashed.
Thunder is due to arrive at Gordano Services on the M5 at 12.30pm tomorrow (Saturday Lunchtime)
Right now we have no forward transport!!!!
The choice is for us to drive down from Scotland and pick him up ourselves from Bristol... or the put out a BIG plea...
IS ANYONE ABLE OR WILLING TO ASSIST??
Anywhere further north would REALLY Help the charity...
We can head down but reduce the journey down a bit???
I know its late in the day.. But any help would be REALLY appreciated.

Not got any travel plans for the next few days but could give him bed and breakfast (and walks with Ruby) in North Yorkshire if that helps other people with drop-off and pick-up times.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

Just an update: Thunder is en route to Gordana. Romadog2004 is picking him up and will be providing a bed for the night (is that Hairbnb?). He may also look to foster or adopt...

The charity still has some Labs and other dogs that are looking for their forever homes so please consider it?
There is also a 10yo Lab whose owner died. The Lab lay beside his body until it was discovered. He is Black (so will never find a home in Cyprus). He is truly Loyal, very confused and upset right now and has never been in a Kennel as he was with his owner from a puppy. If he cannot be found a new home which is difficult given his colour and age he may end up being euthanased by the council. He is not in our (JCDR) charity's possession but we can point you in the direction of him and assist with the transport logistics, paperwork etc..1 TR6 Rusting away quietly
