Can't they be a bit more patriotic
Watching the news recently it appears that with the exception of the PM, UK Government ministers seem to be chauffeured around in foreign cars. Why can’t they be a bit more patriotic (and also reduce the balance of payment deficit) and use JLR products? Yes, I do appreciate that D4’s are used by the protection squads but everyone else seems to use BMW’s.
Can’t imagine the French or Germans using anything except their own products !

I thought JLR were an Indian company Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!
JLR are a British company. They just happen to have Indian owners who've stuck up for us internationally and domestically and financed all the cars you see now. The problem is that BMW and the likes kind of give the cars away to get sales. We don't as we have customers waiting.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Perhaps they could drive around in cheaper cars - that would help reduce bills a bit too. We're all in it together...Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

Personally, I'd prefer to see the likes of BMW sell their wares at eye watering discounts to help pay for these cars and let the likes of JLR sell to retail customers at a price that means that they can afford to reinvest in the business!2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I would have never thought a thing like that ... I suppose Rajoy should get on in Seat, which is a Spanish car..... Even if their owners are German? .....Everyone knows that the Santander bank is the most important Spanish bank also.... lost in translation!

Looking at the age of some of them, they could use their bus passes
