Guys,
has anyone had to replace the intercooler hose on there D4 and if so how did you access it?
I need to eliminate a split hose as the source of black smoke on hard acceleration
Many thanks

Forgive my ignorance Kenny but are they in the same place as a D3 2.7 ? The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

On your yes Kenny, its likely to be a split in the manifold. Take the cover off and have a look for any residue or get someone else to rev it whilst you look for the crack. Bodsys Brake Bible
