Changing D4 battery
Is changing the battery on the d4 the same procedure as the D3?
Got a new battery to put on my d4 and want to check I do it right.
Cheers

ISTR the only difference is that the -ve lead needs to be connected to an earthing point, not the battery, to keep the BMU happy. But i have been wrong. Allegedly.

So do you have to take the negative off first and touch it to the body work 1st then remove the positive ?

best wait til someone techie comes along but as I understand it U connect the +ve croc clip of the charger to the +ve post of the battery and -ve croc clip to an earthing point or engine block.

Ah!!!! I read charging, not changing!!!
I can never remember the correct sequence but generally take of +ve then -ve, re connecting -ve then +ve. Nothing has blown up yet.
