service manager at youngs was Darren hardy.nice chap.
wouldn't deal with the youngsters on the service desk.from my experience they don't know one end of the car to the other.
last time I asked they were £105 per hour plus vat........surely a set book price for these items

Thanks - I dealt with Darren once before and have his e-mail address - he's great, might ask him for a discount (you don't ask you don't get etc.)

Vanstones did the cambelt, timing belt service and oil pump change in Oct 15 for the previous owner of the D3 I’ve just bought from Tredown. The invoice was 1.3k

Sorry to drag this back to the top.
D3 is at Roger Youngs - price-matched other LR dealers in Devon & Cornwall- I decided the FLRSH was worth the difference.
Q - Are the cam belt *Pulleys* included normally (not the tensioner)?
I was given a list of the components being changed from another dealer, wrote it down, def mentioned pulleys - I wonder if pulleys & tensioners are sometimes referred to as the same thing.
Long story short, they are saying they aren’t included & want extra £
I appreciate that it’s the perfect time to do them, see them being changed in the guide in [Mods] here etc - just thought it was included.
All thoughts much appreciated.
