Goodyear Wrangler HPs - Off road - Any good? |
|
So for Christmas my other half bought me a owners 4x4 session at Wildtracks in Newmarket. I haven't been able to find out much about the course other than the fact it's mainly sand with pockets of clay and some pools for wading.
I've just had 4x Goodyear Wranglers fitted so i'm not looking to change them. What I would like to know if if anyone else has had any experience of taking their D4 to something similar with these tyres on? They charge £5 for a tow out, so really I want to know if i'm going to be embarrassed as my Disco doesn't have the grip to do anything and ends us making me a stock or if i'll be king of the course...
Thoughts...?

I have these tyres. Came from the dealers with them. I went to a pay and play last weekend. I drove into the field, nearly got to where the actually course started, slipped slid around on a bank for a bit before giving up. 10 mins was enough for me before i parked it up. That was slippy wet mud. On sand and rocks they may be good idk. Good bye untrusted p38
