JAS Landrover, N Yorks.
Folks, meant to post this ages ago and finally getting round to it now. I wanted to let people know about the excellent service I received at JAS Landrover in Pocklington, N Yorks. last summer. We were holidaying with the caravan 400 miles from home when the disco decided to have a brake calliper binding event the day before we were due to drive home. JAS made the repair for me at only 1 hours notice, price was very reasonable and they were very friendly and helpful to boot. I highly recommend them!

I've got to agree with Mike, Joe's speciality seems to be attention to detail. Highly recommended D4 MY14 XXV - RLD/IID BT
D4 MY13 HSE Lux - RLD/IID BT
P38 RR - Sad parting
110 - Even sadder parting
S3 88" - Still going strong after 23 years of ownership

JAS carried out my 7-Yr service last year and had great service from them too. Price was also great.
Will be arranging this year's service with them shortly

I've just had a gearbox flush at JAS as a precautionary measure only as it didn't feel as though there were any problems. What a difference it's made - changes up and down are now silky smooth.
I also had a small coolant leak that I've been trying to find for some months.
This was found by Joe to be due to a pipe having been poorly clamped with a jubilee clip rather than the correct fitting whilst the cam belt change was carried out at the main dealers
All now sorted and I'm a very happy bunny
I've already discussed taking it back there when the service is due later in the year

This chap is only 20 minutes from me, and I've only just found out about him (and searched on here to see if there was any feedback). All sounds good!
Until now I've been travelling to Duckworth's in Market Rasen. Will give him a go for my service in March and hopefully he can do gearbox flush too.

Bit of a thread revival but had a very competitive quote from J&S for my 80k/60 month service on the D4.
Was a bit surprised by the powerflush price (£305) but then I have no idea how involved it is, or the cost of the fluid etc. Is that in the right ballpark?

Yep. The fluid is costly.

Thanks chaps. Looks like it's time to treat it then. I'll be paying about the same for service and powerflush as I would for just the service at main dealer, so can't complain.
