Locked out of car
Just gone to get in car and travel home and cant unlock the car with the keyfob, so tried the emergency key on the passenger door and it still won't let me in. House keys are in the car
Phoned rescue and awaiting for them to arrive but welcome to any suggestions.
I suspect battery and I do have tow electrics fitted (I'm sure I read you could put a charge thru it)
Any advice would be appreciated.Discovery 4 HSE Luxury Santorini MY12

In my experience, on my D3, you have to turn the key so hard that you’ll be scared it’s going to snap.
Hope you get in quickly. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

On the D3 turn key and pull handle at the same time sort of, that seems to open it.

Back home now...
Went back out with the WD40 and emergency key and managed to get in, however the keyfob still wasnt being recognized. I put a new keyfob battery in that I had in the car, however this didnt make any difference. At this point the rescue truck turned up. He popped the bonnet and disconnected the battery and reconnected it and bingo! the keyfob worked and I got the car started.
Pretty bizarre but he said it happens a lot. Anyone else had an issue like this?Discovery 4 HSE Luxury Santorini MY12
