Fitting front fogs in bumper - any tips?

Going to fit my fog lights into the front bumper tomorrow, any tips from those that have done the job please? Is the bumper easy to cut out etc?

Also, can the front bumper be removed without having to strip both front wheel arch trims first i.e. can you get at the screws etc by lifting the front edges and bending them back a bit?

I did it a few weeks after Barry completed his CFB.Its a very easy job TBH , even for me.

The plastic is quite soft and easy to cut.I didnt have a dremmel but instead stitch-drilled the holes.I undersized the holes slightly i.e stayed inside the lines by about 3-5 mm and then pared them back to the lines with a new stanley blade/knife.A rub of a file then cleans the edges up for fitting of the three ( 4?) metal clips that take the screws for the unit itself.

Like you say above theres no need to completely strip the arches.Simply release the retaining screw nearest the bottom front edge of the arch ( within the wheel arch) Pull/Pop the wheel arch out just enough to release the bumper.I normally wedge a piece of timber in to hold the arch back.

Barry has pics as Ron says above .

Whole job should only take an hour excluding smoke breaks Thumbs Up
