Bit random but but has anybody found double sided tape that |
|
Sticks to the plastic side trims in the boot of a D4???
We’ve got one of those boot liners but the sides never stick.
I’ve cleaned the plastic with isopropyl / white spirits / etc but after a while whatever double sided tape I use eventually fails.

You can get sticky back velcro. Used to use at work to hold a laptop inside a case on a plastic base. Damn grippy stuff! 2006 TdV6 HSE.

Velcro didn't work for me. Stuck briefly then fell off. There is a heavier duty version but suspect I'll be using rivets. .

That’s what it was, it just fell off

Actually that’s a really good idea! I had thought of it but dismissed it as my confused logic thought it would be a right pain to clean up with the foam but in actuality if it sticks then that’s what I’m after and if it doesn’t then nothing lost

Failing that, it'll come in handy for something.

Looks like you're sorted but just for reference the makers of gorilla glue do a double sided tape and it's very good a I've used it before and struggled to get the bits to seperate
