Finally after 3 months of waiting my light strips arrived from Litewave
Pretty sturdy product so worth waiting for. Will get fitted asap ... hopefully A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

Bringing this thread back to life...
Anyone around that bought these and are still happy with them...? any issues (as I am about to purchase a set). The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

I've bought four of these with the intention of putting two in the lift gate and two in the inside in the plastic on either side ~ mounting switches for each pair in the plastic back there somewhere

they are very bright ~ just add a resistor in series to be sure not to burn em out

Easy to fit and give a really good light.
Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them!!!!!!

I've also just fitted the 300mm Litewave strips in my boot/trunk
They're really bright - and I'm pleased with them - very simple to fit (worth remembering that LEDs only take power one way, so if you connect them up and they don't work, just reverse the connections).
Now I just need to add the switch mod like Wiggs ... or it's gonna scare SWMBO next time she drives at night and opens the door! Rob aka gringle
