SWMBO says it looks quite scrummy. I know what it’s like re loosing weight, I was massively overweight until I got fit and went on serious diet, it’s really worth it. Just struggling on this trip to keep the weight from sky rocketing.
Mind you, this lot isn’t going to help. I got distracted on the way to the cheeses.
Chris Stew there‘ll be nothing left of you at 3stLRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

All looking great Del
Noticed the complete lack of white lines, or any other markings, on the road, can you just imagine a similar system in the UK??
Was a little surprised you only managed to catch sight of just one moped with 3 passengers and that it was only 3 passengers! Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector

We thought on the beach we’d be clear of pesky two wheelers, how wrong we were.
All packed up for the off tomorrow. Taxi/Grab to Ga Nha Trang (Ga is about the only word in Vietnamese I know, for station) then 08:35 Reunification “express” to Da Nang, 12 hour ride. Will bung a Glympse link up so peeps can judge the speed, esp good for anyone suffering from insomnia.

And bye bye Nha Trang, well hopefully in 75 mins. Gotta day I’m loving Grab. To the station (1.5km) was just over £1 and we pushed the boat out with a 30p tip!!

Our train isn’t on the board but lady in very crisp & stern uniform seems happy and is letting us stay.
If anyone can’t sleep here’s the Glympse link, don’t expect the blue dot to break and speed records!!
PS Our home for the next while, the train is delayed by 30 mins.
Plus lots of bikes going on their holibobs by train!! Sweeeeeeeeeet!

You’ve not moved! We could play a game if you move down the platform and we have to guess where you are- on the platform. When is the train due?

Sitting still hoping that the train we’re booked on actually exists. Sternly dressed woman is happy that there is that train, but then she disappears! Getting tense!! Though all going to plan the blue dot will head off in an hour & a bit.

At last on a train. We hope it’s heading N. Not this one but close enough for government work.

Home for the next 12 hours (minimum) until Da Nang.

And we’re off. Hopefully the blue dot will crawl North.
PS At last the scooters have met their match!!

Trying to persuade SWMBO to pluck up the courage and nip off the train at the next stop & get some emergency supplies from the platform vendors.

The blue dot moves albeit at 30mph. I’ve been on the Blue Train in South Africa that moves at a similar pace so shall we call this the Blue Dot Train?

But when in Rome etc, it’s now officially the Tàu Chấm Xanh.
No vendors at this stop, and a very quick stop. Luckily SWMBO thought my plan was rubbish and that it’s my fault we thought breakie at the hotel would be enough.

Time to peruse the rules, as shown by Chris Tarrant. Love 10.4.d.
