Might be easier to see it here if it comes out right There's clearly a connection roughly mid way between the CM and the height sensor. I would suggest you begin at the wheel and check each wire individually and work back as far as you can. ( SG = 4.9v, SO = 1.3 to 2.5v, SB = Gnd, key on) It is also possible that the fault is at the CM end above the kick panel on the drivers side. Could be moisture or water ingress.

Might be getting somewhere
I have red blue and yellow wiring to the sensor, however stripping back the trunking from there I have came across splices into the wiring

from what I can see of the wiring disappearing into the splices, it looks to be covered in green gunge.
Looks like the PO has had a problem before and carried out a repair.
Hoping to strip back a bit further and then re wire with solder and shrink tubing

From the above image when I gave the red wire a little tug it came away from the joint, seems I've found the problem.
Of course neither end of the wire will take solder, so I've had to do a temporary repair to make sure thats the fault and also until I can get a new plug (see they are for sale on here at much less cost than elsewhere) and also the weather improves its still only +1 degrees here today.
All back together for now and my old and new live values confirm that for now all is good

Not looking forward to re-cabling it though, cant see where the existing wire goes to, would like to take it right back to the CM in the cab but not sure if it joins anything else on the way there

Spent an hour today having a go at doing a permanent repair to the sensor.
Read up on cleaning the copper cable to allow soldering was a bit sceptical to say the least using a solution of vinegar and salt to remove oxidisation from the copper then a rinse in bicarbonate of soda bath to neutralise the acid.
Must say impressed with the results. Old copper came up like new, all soldered and shrink tubing fitted and all taped with self amalgamating tape.
Reading with GAP looks good as well.

I have the exact same issue on my rear right sensor, same values on the IID, time to follow some wires!
