The only way is via a main dealer as far as I know.

Maybe an Autologic equipped independant could do it, but I am not sure. 10forcash would know, but he is away at the moment.

Think its engine running hours isn't it? Seemed that way when our RRS approached its 1st service...

yeah, this was for someone else to reset. Mine will be done when serviced by the Dealer.

Mine is actually showing -22 Days..... It's 10 months old and only done 9500 miles Shocked

I phoned the dealer who said not to worry as it IS 1 year or 15,000 miles. He thought maybe it had been set incorrectly from the factory. I did question wehter it was an import, but documents and the Dealers word shows it was a Demo Vehicle from them (Land Rover Franchised Dealer)

The dealer sets the clock the service indicator as part of the pdi. It is not done at the factory as some of these vehicles take a couple of months to get to the customer, depending on where they are in the world.

Biffo,
Fantastic find, What else can be fiddled with?
It would seem all functions of the computor could be adjusted too only if we knew the sequence to do it Whistle

Well done

Hello,

about distance between service controls and how old is car: my dealer confirm to me that the service is requested every 20.000 Km OR one year after the previous.

So, if u do not do it at least one time per year u can go against warranty precondition Sad
Does anybody confirm it? If not, can be our "local" differents warranty specification?

thanks

Biffo or others,
Tried to reset service indercator and no go. Service comes up then days but does not flash, two of us tried it as per the autodata instructions but nothing,
All we could get is the message " R _05 _ 07
05_0 displayed when the ignition was turned off with the button still pressed.

What could be the problem ?

The reason for the reset is just had a service by an inderpendant and I said no wories ive got the instructions to reset it, Shocked
