Clear out to raise funds for my double knee replacements
You don't happen to have a kidney up for sale, do you?
Seriously, good luck with the sale .... & op. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Furnitureman, hope you do not mind this, not trying to spoil your FS post.
I have had two total knees replacement. Both were extremely cream cracker.
Yes I was told would need 3 months off work for each knee. I said 3 weeks maximum.
First knee (left) done mid April and I was working one week later. Rested as required. Three weeks after left knee operation I was driving Defender which has heavy clutch. Physio said it was good exercise for left knee.
Right knee was done 12th August less then 4 months apart. That one I took it easy and had a grand total of 10 days off (not 10 normal working days) Yes I run my own business.
My advice is get as fit as possible beforehand and do the exercises after the operation. Sit on your backside watching TV and you will have 3+ months off work. Definitely need the right mental attitude otherwise start looking at wheelchairs!
The bruising will be spectacular and the bruising will hurt.
Only thing I did wrong was not having both knees done years ago!
Good luck
Brendan

If the brake call are still going I'll have both.
Wish you luck with the knees, me I had to have 18 months off for spine work looking at my back though a hole and mirror I liked like a coloured man . Have them tablets ready lol

Cheers mate I’m not an ordinary patient I had both upper tibias broken, wedged open and plates screwed too hold the bones together, so my recover has to include working around these, on-top of that I’m relatively fit 17 stone not much of it fat cabinet maker, I’m on my feet lifting heavy furniture around and working big wood working machines, if I was in an office I’d be ok but I’m prepared for the worst case anything les is a bonusRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car
