Yep, classic D4 going well, but thinking of heading to the future and going all electric or hybrid. Don't really need D4 now that I don't tow and have sold my share in the construction business. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

I'm actually having a mid life crisis and looking to reset my life and the things I want out of it. I'm lucky in that I can afford to buy pretty much what I want but choose not to.I've never been into the b' of status or labels but I like quality and tools that do a task. I'm much more about experiences. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

I’m enjoying the SDV8 FFRR experience. Nothing beats the all round versatility, practicality and comfort of the D4 though. I for one still love the looks of the D3/4 as well. It’s a timeless classic in my book. Whereas the D5 will soon be forgotten. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

ive had mostly FL2 and a couple of Evoque for the last 10 years or so, but over the last 18months have really lusted after a D4. Part of me just wanted one and part of me wanted to own a 3.0 V6 before they get thrown off the edge of the earth for ever.
I dont NEED something as big as the D4, I dont NEED something as thirsty (ish) as the D4 but i just WANTED one, and eventually in August this year I let my heart overrule my head and i got one.... and i couldnt be happier

Yeah, the happiness factor is something which the D3 and D4 certainly check for many of us
Today, in -4 oC I turned on the heated windshield and - because the screen was replaced last Friday - all the ice just melted away. It’s like having a new car now SWMBO’s Volvo doesn’t have “such modern things” (I think it wasn’t available on MY14 if one selected a bunch of safety features, radars and cameras) so..
