Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!
on ASDA website, viewing your orders and clicking on "order again" seems to allow you to get slots a couple of weeks beyond those displayed when you try and choose a slot manually.

Tesco only seem to let you book 4 weeks ahead. We’ve settled into an order every 6 days, we’ve got 5 deliveries booked including today. As SWMBO’s usually up at 2am(ish), she’s now in charge of booking slots before the lazy masses get their arras out of bed, including me.
My son had two ASDA deliveries booked and as soon as lockdown was announced, they cancelled them.

Luckily up here we’re in Nicola DefCon 1 so no knockdown and most things are progressing as they were. No cancelled orders.

The boss went into ASDA on her way home from seeing her mother (in a care home for the last time)
and there were only 20-30 people in the store. No mass buying.
