Can anyone tell me if the D3 SE has the wiring loom for the fridge box fitted as standard or do I need to get the loom as well as the second hand console with fridge fridge box in it?

Seems like a pretty good addition.
I have an HSE but I guess the same on the wiring front. Any pointers on where to find fridges?

I just took mine off to remove the oudated Nokia holder that use too much of precious fridge space (of course a put the fridge back ).
It is a very straight forward process. You need to remove the whole center console covering. I followed 2 youtube videos and took about 30 min. I can post the links here if you want.
Indeed, fridge is a good addition.

I added a frindge to my 2008 HSE last month. Couldnt believe how easy it was, best £50 I ever spent!
Couple of screws to get the gear shifter surround and cup holder etc off, one under the EPB switch and another the opposite side and it pops up (watched a youtube video). 2 screws on the front of the cubby itself and a still pull up on it and its out.
The connector should already be theer but mine was hidden in a grey foam coating so wasn't immediately obvious.
Fitting is reverse of removal. 2008 Disco3 2.7 Tdv6 HSE

Word of warning, I bought a fridge from Duckworths about 3 years ago for my now scrap D3 SE, after fitting the led in the switch was green coloured, unknown to me the fridge did not switch off when I removed the ignition key, resulting in a flat battery.
My new D3 HSE came with a fridge fitted, the switch has a blue led, the fridge switches off when the key is removed.
You have been warned, check before you end up like me

There are D4 type are D3 type fridges.
In a D4 the fridge supply is on with ignition only. The fridge, when switched on, runs all the time.
In a D3 the fridge supply is permanent and the fridge itself has a voltage sensing circuit to switch the fridge off and protect the battery even if the switch is left on.
Well known issue right back to the start of retrofitting D4 fridges when they were (relatively) cheap. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
Any issues with the site let me know!

Are the Range Rover/Range Rover Sport cubby fridges the same units?
Or are they completely different? 2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

2005 FFRR SC V8- Java Black

Mine was from a Range Rover Sport and have had no problems with it.
