So how did the fault finding go? Did the air intake sensor replacement stop the smoking and what were the injector values like after the sensor was replaced? Always good to update the threads post resolution as it may assist someone in the future, well that and we're all nosey !

Replaced the MAF, and the smoking never returned. Not entirely convinced that was the issue. I could have inadvertently fixed an air leak or dodgy electrical connection. Still, had some trouble free motoring until I sold it. Which I regretted. But no worries, just bought a HSE. 2005 Discovery 3 HSE 2.7TDV6 Auto
