Just had a new windscreen fitted.....
But now it squeaks like f k
Anyone know if this will resolve itself once the sealant is fully cured after 24 hours?...or will i be depositing it back on autoglasses forecourt followed by short descriptive words questioning the fitters parentage? "you cannot teach stupid people to do clever things"

Check that the a pillar covers have been fitted back properly as the clips are quite brittle and may not have been replaced

The noise seems to be coming from behind the HK speaker in the center of the dash and in the passenger corner under the tax disc.
Piller covers are back on fine by the looks of it (not worrying about them to much as they are scratched to feck from salisbury!)

Insist they change the a-pillar trim clips, otherwise they can brake and the trim can fly off. You might also find that your D3 aint waterproof anymore....like mine was after RAC Autowindscreens changed mine

Did you do the timelapse photos as we said?
Sorry to hear of your woes. After they installed the swimming pool in my front footwell, they returned the following day and replaced the screen without too much protestation. Just watch out for those damn clips though.
Godd Luck

When replacing mine (insurance claim), insisted that my LR dealer do the job. Probably cost more but it was a good job. Cost about AUD840.0006 TDV6 SE with many LR and after-market extras. Used only on weekends and trips out west.
