I like the idea but I doubt the ladder will hold well without screwing it to the side like it's done on the defender.

very interested to see this link!
I am in the processof hunting down both the laddewr and the side mounted luggage box so that as soon as i find one less than £250, i want to mount one on the side of my disco. The boxes were £700 when they first came out now they are down to £399.99 on ebay - sure they will come down again lol.
Be interested to know if there interest to do a group buy?

Seems a lot of money, for items who will obstruct your rear vision massively, a complaint i read more often from new defender users with that package….
Apart from the cool rugged looks i see more cons than pros tbh, but that is me.. Best regards

i do agree on obscuring vision but when you have seats in the middle and the back has a swing away carrier, it would be extremely helpfull to have somewhere for straps/wet jacket/boots/tow electrics adaptor/towball cover etc without have to put anything inside the car. also, when camping people say they are a great area to put rubbish or dirt stuff in a bag where it wont smell the car out......

I never considered rear vision - thats a good point.
The ladder brings some comfort if you got a rooftop tent._,,,_______///________

This is covered here before….
And… they block your rear view mirrors…hugely
People who have driven the new defender with them fitted, complain…if not all of them..
And tbh…also a lot of money for potentially chinese rubbish, if you buy, buy at your home country or near your home country.. at least you have better end-control thenBest regards
