Talking of lightbars, I've just fitted a Stedi ST1K to my facelift D4. It's a more budget option compared to the offerings from Lazer et al. and I'm pleased with the build quality and light output.

That’s really nice, I like it Thumbs Up I wanted to hide the bar, too, but it seems difficult as one can’t get cairns blue/silver grilles anymore, it’s difficult to purchase any from UK after The Event That Occurred And Shall Not Be Named (like powerful uk doesn’t ship to EU anymore), etc. etc.

The Linear 18 Elite was part of a chrimbo sale, or at least nobody seems to sell it at MSRP… but about double from what you paid with cabling and mounts included.

Tbh i was shocked to read that…

But after reading a “explanation” on their site, i am also not suprised, no EU customer want to buy from them if the add 20% first (“strange”) then postage/shipment and then EU VAT (both normal)

On the powerfulluk website i read:
Quote:
All deliveries outside the UK are subject to zero UK VAT but will incur a 20% overseas surcharge to cover our international insurance and administration

I have a company too..
We do export to a lot of NON EU country’s incl UK… insurance is taken care for with the shipment and the forms are a 5 minute job once you know the TARIC code’s (ones you have a “small list” of the ones you need for carparts, mostly the same returning parts/code’s) we don’t “see” the problem and for sure add NO surcharge for UK or other NON EU country’s …

Not meant as a topic, hijack, so not the place to discuss this in depth here in this topic i think..was just shocked to read that.., sorry..
 Best regards
Harold
