Not here it doesn't, but then we're a bit further south than you in the chilly northlands. Laughing

That’s one of the things I really struggled to cope with in N Scandinavia on camping jollies, 24 hour daylight. Sleeping in the car or tent was difficult. Once I was getting up to bug out of a wild camping spot, sun on my face, looked at my watch and it was 3:30, am variety. It really messes with my brain. Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

No Beast from the East for the Fins, it’s called Tuesday. Thumbs Up

Talking of temp changes, we met some peeps from Alaska when we were in Perth in ‘20 (Aussie version of Perth, not the one next to DM’s place). They’d gotten on a flight at -35c, arrived after a couple of changes to +35c. I’d have thought not too much an issue going that way but imagine reversing those numbers! Shocked Shocked

I did that in April (not quite to those numbers) but flying back from Saudi to land in Aberdeenshire was something of a shock !

Last time we were in NZ, we were sat out in >30C enjoying a glass of something grape-derived, and received a text from our neighbour who had been to check our heating was ok as it was forecast -10C or worse overnight. Didn't tell him how good the weather was where we were as I didn't want him switching off the boiler in a fit of spite. Rolling with laughter
