Is it an HSE?
Hi, I'm new to Land Rovers so please excuse any ignorance - I have just bought a used Disco 3, TDV6 2.7, which was advertised as HSE but there are no badges on the rear. The new V5 arrived yesterday but doesn't list which model. My question for all you experienced Landy owners is - how can I tell if my one is actually an HSE model?

Maybe a bit more info or a few pics would help identify yours

Is it an HSE?
OK guys, many thanks for the answers, glad I joined this forum! It has the spec mentioned, so I guess it must be HSE. I'll check the VIN next, thanks for that tip.
I would guess the 'Special Vehicles' decal is a poser sticker from ebay and doesn't actually mean anything. Unless anyone out there knows different.......

Is there anything on an 06HSE that isn’t available as an option on lessor spec’ed vehicles? Rear AC and the extra button on the HVAC unit (forgotten what it was for) for example.

I understand what you mean, but before someone makes a wrong assuption based on not having rear AC
not all HSE from MY06 have rear AC….
How do i know? I have a MY06 HSE (On VIN and spec) 5 seaterBest regards

That throws another spanner in the works, non UK specs. ISTR rear AC was standard in 06MY UK specs but disappeared for 07MY specs. All part of LRs continuous downgrading of specs.

In UK all HSEs were 7 seaters, ISTR. 5 seaters were base spec only, not even S spec. All ISTR from a long time ago, and a galaxy far, far away.

HSE or not, that is the question...
Thanks guys, Harold - here are some interior pix, not sure what angles were required so I hope these are useful. There is rear aircon and it's a 7-seater, full panoramic sunroof with x3 interior 'ports', front tilts and slides and two rear ones are static.
I appreciate everyone's input on this and congratulations again on a great forum
