I also want to see if any fault codes change or appear once the plates are fitted. I'll then decide if I want to keep them in or wait until warranty expires next year.
Do these work with the D3 as I tried one on a Freelander and P38, neither communicated with unit?
I've ordered a velly cheap ELM 327. No idea if it will work with the D3, but have other uses for it if not. Once it turns up (crosses the world's oceans and sits in a customs clearing house for 3 weeks while someone picks their nose) I'll let you know if it works on the D3 or not wd40 has lubrication properties similar to spit. And what's good enough for the girls......

Missed the guy today for the price - will try tomorrow (Tues).
BUMP - any point in asking for a price for the Eur IV engine, or is d'arkuk a group buy of 1?
Avatar currently shows the difference... Proper pic / drawing on my gallery.

AndrewW,
Like Norto I'm very interested in blocking off the EGR and like Norto I'm in Oz. My D3 has +90k on the clock so warranty is not an issue. MY06 TDV6.
Others will also want to get into the act out here. How can we pay? 06 TDV6 SE with Extras

Do I take it that due to the difference in size that the Euro IV just pumps more sh t into the engine to bring the emissions down Anyone know what sort of long term damage this can do to an engine
I was always under the impression that the air being fed to the engine needed to be as clean as possible. I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

norto, disco4x4au, desert traveller...
Hi all! Can you click the button at the top of the post?
We'll get the things to you somehow
Paypal would suit me best (when I've figured it out - I've only used it as an aid to impoverishment...)
pbhawkin - should be able to get a EuroIV plate; price might be higher as demand is lower just yet...

I intend to do the "Deep Penetration" with TFC ( OOh err missus ) and think it may be a good idea to take along a set of these to suit a EuroIV engine just in case I have EGR problems in the middle of the desert, do we have a possible price for these yet or are numbers still too low I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

£5.00 per pair UK delivered (including 50p contribution to DISCO3.CO.UK)
£7.20 per pair REST OF WORLD delivered (including 50p contribution to DISCO3.CO.UK)
Price could be 60p less if we get 50 sign-ups rather than 25.
How long do we wait? what do we think? Want it now? Give it a while?

Don't get too excited but probably about £8 a pair if we do 10 pairs.
So far I think we have 3 thinking about it
