Hi Stu,
I reconise that bit of track
You never seem to get the full impact of slopes on film but that piece of video leaves you in doubt about the risks.
Nice camera work

Cheers Nick
You're right, slopes that leave you sweating normally look really tame on film, but this came out really well.
The only downside to all this was not doing the co-drivers job properly, as I was concentrating on the filming - still, TFC seemed to manage Black Betty Tunisia 1 2 3 Power by

I remember this year I lost the brakes on a steep down hill section ( a chain had ripped a hose off)
I said to my co-driver "Steve we have no brakes".
Steve said " yeah righ ok what's the punch line?
when i repeated "Steve we have no brakes" in panic mode ( with one eye brow raised !) he knew I was no joking.
Happy days?
Regards

just got round to viewing this...
It's the comment about 5':30" in - "don't worry...I've got it all on camera..."
It's so encouraging to see that everyone cares about their fellow D3ers and puts the right level of emphasis on the correct priorities...just think, Stu, what we would have missed if you had put the camera down to go and lend a hand... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

I know I can throw caution to the wind sometimes, but THAT would have made me think twice. It's OK in your back yard, but in another country I wouldn't have been a happy bunny there..... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom
