For those of us with Webasto timers fitted, Webasto recommend that the heater be run every couple of months or so through the summer months to work the pumps and seals and burn off the stale fuel sat in the unit. This should help ensure the injector stays clear and the unit is ready to fire up when it gets cold.
For those of you without the timer option, find a trucker friend who'd let you put your D3 in their refrigerated rig every 8 weeks, or alternatively save up some TFC tokens and get a timer fitted  Give a man a fire and he's warm for the day. But set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.
