How is RAI attached to 'A' pillar ?

Further to my thread about making the RAI watertight
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic30984.html
I'm now determined to do this.

I'm going to have a fettle shortly just to see what's involved.
So I'll be removing the RAI.
But how is it attached to the 'A' Pillar?

Ta Thumbs Up

Take the top cowl off, you'll see a allen bolt that goes into a rivnut on the A pillar.
Off Roading is OK.... But I'd rather be Boating!

Rivnut is already in Mac [a TFC insertion],
just undoing the allen bolt.
But will be careful in getting that back in straight.
Thanks for heads up.

The season stainless was used would be a corrosion issue. Stainless Steel is the worst material for 'biting'
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
