drivesafe,

very helpful. Didnt know that before. Although my setup works OK, i will replace it as soon as you have something available.
How to get hold of your product in Europe?
Is there a time range when the kit will be available?

Hi folks, first off this is not the place to discuss a product of any kind as I have, as yet, not made any arrangements with the site owners to do so but I will be.

As to when it will be available all depends on when LRA notifies me officially and when I have the battery mounting bracket mass produced.

I also still have to do some more research on the type of battery to use so that I can recommend a battery that will suits the set up and vehicle.

Cheers and thanks for all your enthusiasm. Very Happy

I don't think that Martin will mind too much as long as it is not too obvious... Wink Turbochip has long been an avid enthousiast of this forum and I don't think that anybody is being really upset by that...

But I'll let you arrange that with Martin ! Very Happy

Anyway, just make sure that what you recommand is widely available throughout Europe... Wink And I am sure that some will want to add the US and Canada to that... Very Happy

what about this solution?
I combined it with a water tank, so put all in the trunk, but if you have the 5 seat, you also have the empty space where you can put the 6th and 7th seat in.
for the wireing, I started from the plus on the original battery, fitted a fuse, and then from under the hood, via the chassis (IN the chassis) to the back, and entered directly in the trunc.
The ground I also took from the back.
For the split charger,I took a simple one, no need for bling meters or others.
Ok you loose trunc space, but as I needed the watertank anyway...
Unless you put them in the "hidden" seat compartment

Oh yes, just for the record, the water hose is replaced with shower hose, and electrical valve Wink

Penguin, a silly question perhaps, but how do you remove the floor board where the back seat would normally go? I have a 5 seater, and wasn't able to pull up the floor board. I'm not sure how it's fastened, and didn't want to break anything by pulling on it incorrectly.... I am assuming you pull from the detents in the surrounding floor area on each side?

Regards,

NW

As I tend to leave my car for weeks, sometimes months, a neat second battery would be great. I joint those who are happy to sit and wait.

Can't help you with that, since I have the dog guard installed, (and can't remove it due to legal restrictions) I never tried.
But someone here managed to install a pc in there Wink so he might help you
