Heading up to Orkney in June, if we head past you I'll give you some notice to put the kettle on Not sure if we'll take the scenic west coast route. Planning on taking 3-4 days to get from mine to scrabster.

Yep looks great. I was unsure about my steps for 6 months after I bought it. Good thing is they do protect the car from dings in car parks if you rasie the height. I eventually felt they ruin the lines of the vehicle and don't really represent what the car is built for (e.g. take it offroad and watch you steps come back looking like a letter S) -so I ditched them and replaced the sills (as the steps leave gaping holes in them).
Anyway I am sure you will make up your own mind - its a personal choice.
Great pics and have a good easter with her,
G56 Tonga Green HSE.

Side steps are defo coming off on Saturday. Plan is to remove them, fit MTR's on and my Mantec plate. I can't help when looking at the car with the steps on thinking it looks like an advert for panty liners....with wings

Welcome back to the fold JKP - great pics.
SWMBO has been going on about side steps since we got ours last November and I've been in avoidance mode. But PANTY LINERS - no way, Yorik will be staying wingless as intended.

Make sure you order 2 new lower side sills, they have to cut the trims on your car to make the brackets for the steps to fit, afaik they are around £80 each from the dealer, it looks awful if you leave them as there is 3 holes
The Grey looks fantastic 8)

Got the three holes at the moment. Sold the steps to a local member, who I'll give a hand to fit them and we're going to swap over sill covers.
Had the car just over a week now and absolutely loving it. I'm pleased the autobox is as good as I thought it was A totally different way of driving from the manual. I used to do a lot of engine braking and was quite careful of brake usage, but with the auto I may go through brake pads a tad quicker.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the autobox John, i'm on my first ever auto and it's a pleasure to drive.
You can still engine brake, though it takes a little to get used to, just put it into sports mode and knock it down the gears. ATB

I'll get some pics in a couple of days once she's clean and I have time. Busy right up until Wednesday.
Alan, I should have had the autobox first time round. Not sure about the engine braking via command shift. tried it a few times over the last few days and not quite the same.
