Have I lost it, or am I really just a nice bloke ?
After being drowned in the Lakes last week, was putting my tintent away to storage on Sat.
As I passed a local D3 outside a chaps house I noticed he had a flat rear tyre [obscured from view from his house].
After ditching the tintent [on my way back home] I stopped at said chaps house, knocked on door and asked it he knew he had a flat tyre.
Yep he did, but hadn't got around to changing it yet [and was a bit nervous in doing so].
So, I offered him a loan of my 3 ton trolley jack [complete with SM adapter].
Took it to him 30 min later [along with my cross brace and my grannies old rug].
Chap said he would change it now.
So off I jolly well started jacking up his D3 and changing the wheel for him.
Chap was well chuffed at how quick and solid a job I'd done.
[I've got a full 4 wheel change down to 35min btw].
So ... have I lost it, or am I really just a nice bloke ?I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Yep, nice bloke, I think we all do good things from time to time but often it gets thrown back in our faces. I told someone once their tailight was out at some traffic lights, I got told the feck off and mind my own business.

You are very nice Ron!
Neil is right though. When I first moved to the big city, all young and naive (I'm still young, of course ) I offered a gentlemen walking down my street a bag to put all the meat in he was struggling to carry. He thanked me kindly, and as we were filling the bag, two police cars pulled up Turned out he had just robbed the grocery store. Learned a lesson that day I'm not so good at giving advice...may I offer you a sarcastic comment instead?
