DISCO3/DISCO4 Calendar 2011 - Entries Open!
Here's the official notice and instructions for getting your entries in for the 2011 DISCO3/DISCO4 calendar!
As usual selection will take place in early September, followed by collation and design and printing ready for an on-sale date in October for delivery worldwide before Christmas 8)
You can upload photos to the Calendar gallery by choosing "(DISCO3.CO.UK Public Galleries) DISCO3/DISCO4 Calendar 2011" from the album list available when you upload photos to the gallery. All entries are approved before being accepted into the gallery, so don't worry if your photo doesn't appear straight away
A few guidelines for entries:
All entries must have CALENDAR ENTRY in their description (not in the image's file name) to indicate you have entered it for the 2010 calendar. All other 'accidental' uploads to this gallery will be rejected. I will, if at all possible, move obvious 'wrong' images to one of your own albums and contact you about suspected calendar entries, but this is very time consuming and will lead to a long delay in getting photos approved.
Please add some information about location, event, brief story etc which will be added to the calendar page.
Please submit photos of D3, D4, LR3 and LR4 - if there are enough D4/LR4 photos submitted there may be a DISCO4.COM calendar as well as a DISCO3 one
By submitting entries you agree for your photograph to be used free of all charges in the production of the 2011 DISCO3.CO.UK/DISCO4.COM Calendar.
Your photos must be available without watermarks, added text or other additions. Enhancement of the photo is allowed. Also, you must have available a full-resolution image with any numberplates clearly on show. The image you upload to the Calendar Entries gallery may have any numberplates obscured, but the high resolution version (see below) must be unaltered. This does not mean that the numberplate has to be in the photo though
If your camera takes widescreen photos, please either switch it to normal ratio (4:3 or 3:2 is common), or ensure that there is enough space around the subject to allow the photo to be cropped to A4 ratio (~1.414:1)
VERY IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you have a large resolution (at least 5 Megapixels, 2 Megabyte file size) version of any image you enter for the calendar readily available as these will be required for high quality printing. This means no camera phone/iPhone photos please. These will be required in September 2010 when the calendar is being designed. Please bear this in mind, and try not to lose files!

Martin, please remind me; are there date limits for the 2010 calendar or is something from an earlier year acceptable?Dr. Ian Malcolm:
