Disco 3 Wheel Brace
I was rotating my front and back wheels there a while ago and the wheel brace has broke. luckily fitter was in the yard to help out so got sorted eventually.
I have held onto the wheel brace, if i go to my dealer should i expect a new one free of charge, or will i have to fork out.

You're not the first several people on here have had the same issue. I think someone posted that there is a right and wrong way to use it
Personally I wouldn't bother getting a LR one, the last thing you want is for it to fail when you really need itD3 HSE MY05 Auto

They're only about £5 so I wouldn't fret too much.

I've only used the LR supplied one once when i slashed the MTR.
Otherwise i normally use a 24" Snap-On master bar with ratchet end and a torque bar for refitting.ATB

yep, dont use the LR one unless its the only one you've got access to (a bit like the jack as well). I've a 4way brace I use if at home when swapping wheels.

What do all you Land Rover experts recommend for jacking the Disco? I have a high lift jack that I used to use on my Defender many moons ago, but it isn't really suitable for a Disco.
For speed and minimal effort I use an air jack and NoDo$h bung The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Clarke trolly jacks are pretty popular on the site as well.
Anyone used a bottle jack? That would probably be the best option for most people to keep in the boot, but not sure where you would jack it up from.
Hi Lifts are out for most D3 owners, although there are few that have them and can use them with ARB bumpers. I think Non Stick Nick is the man to ask, he has about 4 jacks on him at all times!D3 HSE MY05 Auto

I broke my wheel brace the 1st time I used it, luckily I was at home and only removing the wheels to clean them. I got a new landrover one but I carry a breaker bar in the car now as I would not trust the standard one2007 HSE Stornoway with Alpacca

used my Costco 3T Jack for the first time yesterday whilst doing my brake pads - so much better than the Clarke Quick Lift I have (2nd one after I bent the frame on the first) - saddle is about 6" across and has a nice long pumping handle
The trick with the LR brace is to make sure its folded round at 90 degrees AGAINST the stop/end of the handle - use it the other way around and it will break - again I had no problem yesterday with mine - and this was only a week or so after it had been in for a main dealer service so wheel nuts were at correct standard tightnessSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
