Hi all
Just my first post and now proud owner of D4 13 reg commercial
Already started converting from 2 seats to 7
Got a full interior from Charlton breakers in Cambridge off eBay
Lovin it
Got loads to do on the disco looking at IId tool next
Eventually sorted out how to easily remove LR security bolts to stop it from being converted, there are about 20 No of the to remove before you can bolt new seats in , should of took pictures but only just got onto this forum
Just like to say thanks to everyone putting their experiences and knowledge on here

hi every body kennyk here just want to say i have a disco3 v8 petrol that i love just joining have had my car since 2008 my daughter bought it new dec 2004 done96000 miles have sorted lots of things but still a great car regards

Just to say I have joined your forum and hope to learn from all your vast experiences on the land rover .
Just purchased my second disco 3 a later model 04 but for some reason listed as 05,152k, original everything and no bling and drivers seat still in tact.
Owner had dogs and there is still the aroma of them.
Two items don't work,first drivers heated seat and then the disc player can't read the CD.
So more than happy so far.

Good afternoon. Newbie just joined. Had disco 200 and 300 tdi back in the day. Been out of it for around 15 years. Just bought an 07 D3 for towing. Impressed so far.

Hi Everybody. Just moved from a D2 to a D3 HSE and feel like I'm having to learn all over again! I bought mine as a bit of a project as it's not my daily driver, just had the belts and oil pump done at a reputable indy, and now getting started on the 'list of jobs'. Looking forward to contributing to the discussion.

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but is there a subject/post where owners can sell or exchange D3 parts or accessories.
I have been looking for centred rear air defusers as mine are missing I believe chewed off by the previous owners dogs, I have seen some for sale but at some extortionate price for two little plastic air vents for anything up to £60 but a D3 silver bonnet for £40 where's the logic.
Yes I have been doing cars for 60 years and I fail to see where two bits of plastics can achieve so much money.
Any how less of the whinging.
I am also after a fuse box/ batter cover which was also chewed/gnawed by the same dog.
Any help or advice would go a long way .

I run part time Black Landy 4x4 tours , I have a young growing family and my wife's defender tdci 90 csw just is not big enough so looking at a disco 3 was I wanted to join and read all, I am a member of defender2 net as well

Hello all!
Greetings from the Netherlands!
Hence forth I will be known as LandyNL since I am the proud owner of a Land Rover Discovery 3 for a whole day now.
I have a few things I would like to fix on the Disco3:
-EGR valve blanking
-Brake pads and disc replacement
-Fix the reason for my yellow blinking warning light (adaptive headlight failure)
-Get a roof rack
-Get a roof top tent
-Have loads of fun!
