I've been reading through the thread with great interest, adding the idea to all the others on this forum for D3 upgrades, and bagged myself a D4 BT module on ebay for £40 although advertised for £79.95 with the option of an offer, so being cheeky, I threw a low figure in expecting to come back with maybe £60, but they took the £40. I just hope it's a good one one now, lol.
I'll be adding this install to the list, as got a D4 touch screen ready to go in and rear camera, and recently done the FFRR wire mod to the D3 screen. 
Thanks to everyone who has put a wealth of knowledge on here over the years, it makes it so much easier for us new owners, it gets addictive once you start and I've always been one for modding anyway.

Well that's another D3 fitted with a D4 BT unit. Thanks to all the contributors through this post, as I've also used the correct type of locking connector too.
