C1A20 Pressure increases too slowly. Signal plausibility fai
Hi,
I had some intermittent yello light from the suspention. Now it goes on every time I drive the car. When I read the fault code with my Hawkeye I get " C1A20 Pressure increases too slowly. Signal plausibility failure"
Does this mean I need a new compressor?

Don't want to buy a new compressor if it's only a signal fault. Have tried searching for the "Signal plausibility failure" but don't find anyone else who had that part of the error...
Maybe all C1A20 errors are the same?

From Vehicle Dynamic Suspension - Diagnosis and Testing
Possible causes of "C1A2064 Pressure Increase Too Slow When Filling Reservoir"
Compressor fault
Reservoir pipe air leak
Reservoir air leak
Gallery pipe air leak
Intake filter blocked/restricted
Intake pipe blocked/restricted
Air suspension intake silencer blocked/restricted
Corner valve stuck open
Pressure sensor fault
Refer to the guided diagnostic routine for this code on the approved diagnostic system. Check the Air suspension intake pipe and silencer for blockage/restriction.

nothing about the "signal plausibility failure" ? Sounds to me as if it could be a strange reading from a sensor.

Not that I could see. But it should be noted that I'm very new to Land Rovers (only bought the LR3 on Xmas Eve) and I've only partially read the docs downloaded from the LR technical site.

Ok... Thanks. Will order a new compressor and change that myself. Stealers want 1200€ for the compressor + labour. Better to order parts from UK and do the work myself...

I need to replace the compressor on mine 2006 LR3. Has anyone done a photo How to guide? like Bodsy's brake bible, the Blanking Plates fix, the Boot Actuator replacement? all of which I've used and have been invaluable.
Also anyone have part number of the compressor?
Many thanks

Doh! I looked at the 'How To' links in your 'signature' and completely missed the
"How To-Replace AMK Suspension Compressor" link! http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic84165.html?highlight=amk
Thanks Mikey! I'll have a good read but apologies up front if I'm back here with more questions
