That makes me think mine may have a problem then
It's in the stealers at the moment for some TLC so I'll check it again when I get it back. I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

my pathetic alarm went off last night, as a friend tried to get in, but i forgot that i'd locked it, he commented on the alarm by saying .
so today being a sunday, the neighbours are gonna hear what me horn sounds like

Just done this - great tip thanks.
Only point to add is that if you get a small, thin flat head and push it along the line of the two 'slots' on the top you will feel the plug loosen, it then just slides out. Until I susse that it was impossible, but when i did that a 2 second job.

Hi all.
Just completed this mod as well.
It took longer to get the passenger door to unlock with the key (it was siezed , required some wd40 and abuse) than it did to remove the plug.
