Id hazard a guess they will cost $500 in the US.
Unfortunately, you would be wrong. We'd love to offer them at that price, but it isn't possible. These are not made in a factory.

I honestly don't know. I have spent all of last week getting ready for Moab, Utah (www.LandRoverNationalRally.com). Scott Monico is also working hard to be able to come here (which means his day job, not his fabrication work). He and I will sit and chat when he gets here. I am aware of the need to have 5 or 6 sets ready and shipped mid October.

Better late than never but I'd be after a set. LR side tubes took one hellova battering at last offroad course & mountings are all bent (as detailed by TFC) so that they now give very little protection. They are now sitting in my garage looking very sorry for themselves.
How easy would this design be to fit (bearing in mind that DIY for me stands for "Destroy it Yourself" and that I would be fitting these to SWMBO's car)???

I think that I said it before, but I'm interested too.
Don't need them necessarily by october though. So, when you're ready! Have a nice day!

Whilst the purposeful looking girders attached to the side of the LR3 are interesting, I'm more intrigued by the fact that the pictured LR3 is running on Hurricanes from a D2.
Anyone else done this? Are they correctly load rated, are they a direct fit etc? Long succession of Disco's since 2001...

I had the pleasure of meeting Dave in Moab this past week. He is a great driver and tackled some of the harder trails offered, including Poison Spider, twice!
Yes, he is running Hurricanes, not they are not a direct fit. He had to mill them down a bit, and add spacers to the hub if I recall correctly. They look pretty good don't they!
The sliders he indicated in the posting above are pretty cool. They are a bit more simple in design, and attach to the body only, rather than the body and frame like the ones I posted earlier in this thread. I'm hopeful he will post more info soon, but perhaps in a different thread
You should also ask him to start a thread showing his slick onboard air setup. I think I'll be doing something similar soon.
