Autologic "Patch" for Euro 4 D3 EGR VALVE.
HI TO ALL
I have just been informed by LAND ROVER SPARES SHOP in South Africa, that Autologic have just developed this "patch". This would then enable those of us who have MY 07 TO 09 D3's to have the Egr valves blanked off and this "patch" insatlled to the ECU. Iam dubious. Can anybody shed more light on this?
Thanks
Tony

I have no doubt that a patch is possible for the MY07+ engines and the practicalities have been discussed on here for a while. Have they achieved it - well I am sure a number on the forum would like it to be true!
I read on one of the Jag Forums that they blank the EGR valves on Euro 4 Engines however they have a 3mm bleed in the Blanking plate. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar

It is possibile to patch the EU4 EGR valves ive done it quite a few months agao as many on the forum have asked me already for this soloution for the BAS interface and the MSV2 tuning.
Time permitting with me being manic at work as its show season at the moment it wont be long before it makes public domain from my self and my tuning dealers.

Pete,
If I understand well, it will be possible to put your EGR blacking kit and with the BAS interface, you could modifiy the map to disable the control ?

Sorry to be thick here but does this mean (when Pete gets chance to make this 'product' rather than prototype) you can blank the knackered EGRs off and apply a patch (with or without performance remap) just as you could with the Euro 3 (pre 2007) version? If so that takes away one major risk of D3 ownership*
Cheers
Craig
