Yes bud spoke with him and it will be three to four weeks for them to sortout the problem either by just a new remote or and updated GVIF unit, so its a waiting game now.
I have mine working with the can bus wires connected but no toggle and no full remote operation..

BTW should you be able to toggle to the reversing camera whilst driving? I was hoping to be able to check my trailer whilst going down the motorway!
No bud because thats on another feed if you want to do that you need to install a relay and a switch there is a post on here that shows you how to do that I am thinking of doing this mod at a later date...

No relay needed, just a diode.
I did that on mine, when I use the switch the camera turns on and the screen switches automatically.
