Quick Q - does anyone actually know what model the LR-supplied Rosen DVD player is? My car helpfully came with a (non-installed) installation kit, but not the DVD player - I was wondering if it's possibly to actually get the "correct" unit at less than my wonderful dealer's price?

It is the Rosen A10. But I have installed the A7 as it was a much cheaper alternative and I didn't need to use the installation kit (as long as you don't have the rear AC controls) Jonhklee

ted,
Since you're in the US, I guess it's keep a watch on ebay.com rather than ebay.co.uk. By the same token, the shipping and duty from Yeovil LR, would probably make it more expensive than a US-dealer.
How about getting a local In-car Entertainment fitter quote you for a two-screen job (headrest or roof)? Since you don't get your money back on resale for toys like this, you might as well get a better quality system that doesn't block your rear-view mirror when in use.
See here for a professional dual screen job. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana
