D3 Alternators

Hi Guys,

I have 3 or 4 Discovery 3/RRS alternators for sale.

These are "takeoff" items that have been used but only for a short period.

They will fit a TDV6 or 4.4 petrol (or 4.2 supercharged RRS) and all you would need form the old one would be the clutch mechanism from the back of the old alternator (this will depend on the type you have).

Looking for Â£100 collected from the York area or Â£110 posted to UK mainland. "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

I now have the numbers of the alternators and they are as follows;

YLE500190 x 1
YLE500390 x 1

The others have sold and the second one supersedes the first and this is the only difference. They will fit all D3's/RRS's but if you have a TDV6 you will need your old clutch off the back.

I also have 2 alternators off a Disco 2 V8 if anyone needs one - Â£35 plus p&p to UK mainland. "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Well despite lots of interest we still have these alternators so will reduce the price to Â£100 inc P&P (UK mainland) or Â£90 collected from the York area - other postal areas by prior approval and agreement etc. "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

They were take-off's due to the vehicles being broken. Not sure how many miles they have done but as they were broken would guess less than 10k. They have been on a shelf for some years so are dust and dirty. "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.

Had some interest in these recently that came to nothing so thought I would confirm they are both still for sale and I will be taking them to Driffield if they dont sell prior to then.

Thought I had sold them all but found one I took off a TDV8 that is numbered YLE500390 and had only covered 17000 miles when it was taken off.

This will fit any Disco3, RRS or FFRR either Petrol or Diesel but if fitting to a Diesel you will need the clutch unit off your old alternator.
