OCD kicked in again today!!
Sat indoors this morning, both kids coughing and splatting, so in an attempt not to get there colds etc, i resorted outdoors to wash and wax my already relatively clean D3
Quite pleased with the results, more pics in my gallery for anyone remotely interested

Seriously nice job Darrel, and a nice looking vehicle to boot.
I guess it makes a lot of us feel very guilty PeteB100
You have every right to be proud and i thank you for posting up the pics. It's certainly very inspiring to see the results that can be achieved with a little bit of effort.
Along with devonchilliman, I would also love to know what you used, and how long it took etc.

Hi Colin,
Hope you are well mate, thanks to your MSV2 my car stays fairly healthy too
As for products used,i've always liked Auto Glym but left them for a while whilst trying others thinking different brands maybe better results but TBH i'm back on the Auto Glym as i find best results with most of there stuff, the only gripe i have is there Bumper Care used on all external trim streaks after rain and heavy dew, easy to get rid of but a PITA when everything else stays looking good for longer but other brands seem no better either
Anyway list as requested like i say ALL Auto Glym:-
Shampoo & Body Conditioner
Aqua Dry Blade
Aqua Dry Chamois
Hi Tech Alloy Wheel Brush
Instant Tire Dressing
Bumper Care
Fast Glass
Super Resin Polish
Extra Gloss Protection
Surface Detail Kit(clay bar & lubricant-not used yet)
Intense Tar Remover
Instant Show Shine
Vinyl Care
Hi Tech Polishing Cloth
Micro Fibre Cloth
Perfect Polishing Cloths
Think thats about it,and once i get those new 20's powder coated satin black,i'll use Alloy Wheel Seal to protect em
As good as it currently looks it still needs to be "clayed" to get the crap out of the paintwork, then resealed with "super resin polish" and i might protect it again with "extra gloss protection" although i'm tempted to try there "High Definition Wax".
So there you go quite an expensive OCD to have too,oh forgot to add timescale was about 4-5 hours which isn't much time by a lot of detailers standards but the car doesn't really get dirty anyhow, i only use it weekends mainly and most the crap it gets in-between is dirt & dust in the air

Hiya Darrell
I am not so bad, bit worn down by this years events and extra work, but i ain't complaining, there's a lot worse off than me.
Glad to hear your MSV-2 is keeping your D3 as healthy as you have made it look.
I have used just a few of the more basic Auto Glym products in the past and have been quite impressed with them.
I was quite interested to hear that you had not Clay Barred your D3, as i have a car that i have badly neglected and even after washing, the surface finish still feels quite gritty and rough.
So i would be particularly glad to get some feedback about this aspect of detailing from anyone who has done it
