Tow Bar.... Where Does It Go?

Hi All,

My disco didnt come with a tow bar, but i have since purchased one off a little known website.

Where am i meant to put it when im not using it?

At the moment it sits under the third row seats but im sure its meant to go somewhere else!

Hi,

it fits in the left hand (passenger side) cubby in the rear of the boot area, you can buy a cut out insert that lives int he cubby and the hitch just slots into this when not in use.

Yup - you need to buy the holder for it. It's made of polystyrene with a strap on it and it bolts into the back left cubby in the boot. You need to cut a bit of carpet out too, but its got a handy 'dotted line' that aids in getting that right.

fitted mine this weekend, brought it new from TLO (nick) as there was a couple on ebay, and with the postage included they were only about £5 cheaper from the other site, so thought best to support nick, plus with nick you know you will get it possibly the next day Bow down

Always best to leave the tow bar attached as I may need another one day and I am pretty much as quick removing them with or without the key!

...just kidding (well apart from the 'no key' bit as that is true)...

Don't have a ebay link, as I found it was simpler to call Nick (TLO) 'the large one' and get him to send me one.

As mentioned earlier in the thread that it is a polystyrene form with a strap I thought it would only be a couple of quid! There is one on ebay HERE

Is that the right price Shocked

That does seem a lot for a polystyren form...
