I seem to remember there was an issue with water getting in through the fresh air intake under the scuttle panel Thumbs Up

Checked that found the huge hole under scuttle panel modified that to deflect water away as water was running off screen in to it yes heater box and pollen filter was soaking wet that's what is making me think , is there a drain that's blocked on bulkhead and over flowing in to heater box when it poors it down ?

Still wonder tho , how hard is sun roof drain to pull out and replace ! Just for my own pease of mind thinking could it have been "rodded" prior to me getting car and having a hole put in it so not all runs free of car that is

Are you getting anything coming out of drain tube under wheel arch? If not the tube may have disconnected from valve, I've heard this is possible. I had wet footwell last year managed to clear tube with net curtain cord. If you haven't pulled up carpet yet I suggest you do, and bail out water that has collected around wiring loom. Good luck Thumbs Up

Water ingress

Hi
Have you checked that the tubes from the sunroof which go down to the bulkhead there is a rubber grommet that the tube goes into ,check and see if this hasn't came out.
Also the black pillar trims let water in through there clips when the little rubber seals perish, I run a strip of gaffa tape down each pillar then clipped the trim back on and no more water

Some of the D3s windscreens weren't sealed properly from the factory and had to have the windscreens resealed so its worth checking this aswell
Cheers

NSF is behind the fuse box and a real pain to get to - as described above it goes into a angled grommet through the wing. If you have pulled it too hard from the top or rodded it too hard it may have come adrift.
Best way yo check is to lift front carpet (Seat out) and trickle water in the top and it will run down under the wiring loom or front footwell.

Will check this

Funny as I've never rodded it my self only blown a bit of air down it ! But it's possible I suppose for previous owner to have done this see if I can get fuse box out the way for a look (fuse box don't have to be fully removed does it ) as that looks a pain to in its self thanks for the input Thumbs Up

If you have water dribbling out under the wheel arch, how could it have disconnected?
