Yet another successful recovery with my Disco

Just pulled a huge Mercedes out of the estate, he was just going side to side and clattering his alloys off the curbs until i turned up.

You should have seen his face when i dragged him up the bank Shocked

Rolling with laughter

It's great to help.

Just helped a Vauxhall Vectra stuck on the ice. He was over the moon that someone had stopped to help him.

He was so desperate to get home and at the old carpet and cardboard stage.

My wife's sister and husband came up for a couple of days in his new Porsche Boxer, when they went home I had to tow him backwards up the drive and then forwards off our estate he was very impressed.

That's 4 good Samaritan jobs so far this winter, and at least 4 more people that wont slag off 4 X 4's. Thumbs Up

Pulled white van man out of an icy hole on the way down from the Ambleside/Kirkstone pass road, he had stupidly decided to take a short cut to Keswick!

The D3 was thwarted on the last uphill on this road by 4ft rock hard iced up snow drifts on a 1 in 3 slope !! Might have done it with studded tyres. Most of this road is iced up anyway and closed (to 'normal' vehicles).

Smile Stopped to help a 7.5t curtain sider yesterday, he was struggling to turn around on a sloping a car park, due to the confines of the car park I couldn't get a straight pull, so ended up initially pulling the front of the truck sideways before I lost traction Laughing . It took GGS in low range to get the job done (centre diff locks sooner) Thumbs Up
